Behind the Numbers in Our Cost Segregation Calculator

Looking for a Cost Seg Study for your property?

I get this question all the time: “How much would a cost seg study actually save me?”

So my team and I decided to build the Maven Cost Segregation Calculator to give folks a quick, realistic estimate of how much they can save based on property type, tax rate, and a few other inputs.

But most people don’t know what those inputs really mean, or how lease type, depreciable basis, and bonus depreciation all factor in.

So I wrote up a full walkthrough that breaks down:

  • How the calculator works
  • Where the numbers come from
  • What kind of tax savings you might be looking at

This tool was built using data from hundreds of actual studies, so you can get a realistic estimate in 60 seconds.

If you’ve ever been curious about how much you could save (or just want to nerd out on depreciation schedules, check out the link below.
